Speaking at practice on Wednesday afternoon in a brief session with the media, New York Jets Chairman Christopher Johnson ended any speculation about Gase’s job security with a commitment to the embattled first-year head coach.
“I want to assure you there will be no changes in coaches here,” Johnson said, via Robby Sabo of ESNY. “Adam has the trust of this team. He has the trust of Sam. He has Joe’s trust. He has my trust. He’s a good man. He’s a good coach.”
