Back in March of 2018, the New York Jets took a flier on veteran return man Andre Roberts. He rewarded their efforts with a Pro Bowl season in 2019.
“Roberts finished with career bests for both punt and kickoff returns with 324 and 1,174 yards, respectively, in addition to adding 10 catches for 79 yards and a score on offense. He was the first member of the Jets named to the All-Pro team since 2011,” per NewYorkJets.com.
Despite a career-year, the Jets said thanks, but no thanks and moved on this offseason.
