The first one is officially aboard.
The New York Jets and Bryce Hall have agreed to a four-year, $3.6 million deal, marking the team’s first rookie to sign a deal post-2020 NFL draft.
The young cornerback joins a Gregg Williams defense with great uncertainty at the position. Along with veteran Pierre Desir and youngsters Bless Austin and Arthur Maulet, the 6-foot-1 lanky defensive back should fit into Williams’s zone scheme pretty well.
Hall racked up five interceptions, 38 pass deflections and 154 total tackles in his four years at Virginia. Joe Douglas graciously accepted the gift that was Hall in the fifth round of the draft.
