The New York Jets have added another rusher to their corps, confirming the addition of former Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West to their roster.
West, 27, joins the Jets after four seasons with the Chiefs, who added him as an undrafted free agent in 2014. After an ACL injury to Jamaal Charles the following year, West burst onto the scene with 848 total yards, 634 on the ground, and five touchdowns. He later added 61 rushing yards and a touchdown in Kansas City’s divisional playoff showdown against New England.
The Abilene Christian alum ends his Kansas City career with 999 rushing yards on 226 carries, adding 552 yards receiving on 75 catches, tallying 12 touchdowns in total over his four seasons.
