The Jets had one open spot on their roster. Crowder’s activation brings the active roster to the limit of 53 players.
Thursday marked the day that Crowder cleared protocols after testing positive for COVID-19 on Sept. 3. He will make his season debut against the New England Patriots on Sunday after missing the team’s season-opening loss to the Carolina Panthers.
