The New York Jets secondary got a much-needed reinforcement on Monday afternoon, announcing the activation of cornerback Rashard Robinson in a team statement. To make room on the active roster, safety J.J. Wilcox was released.

Robinson, 23, was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. He will begin his second season with the Jets, having begun his career with the San Francisco 49ers as a fourth-round pick in 2016.
