It was a relatively uneventful game on Saturday night between the New York Jets and the Carolina Panthers, but the Jets came out on top by a score of 15-12 for their second straight exhibition victory.
In a game with only one last-second touchdown, the Jets’ five field goals were enough to scrape by for the win. It was a very slow-paced game and, by all accounts, a typical preseason game.
However, there were some flashes by Jets players in the game.
Rookie running back Isaiah Davis continued to impress on the ground. He ran with conviction and decisiveness, constantly gaining yards when his number was called.
