FLORHAM PARK -- Will Tye and Jermaine Kearse are still getting their bearings. Understandably so. The Jets traded for Kearse on Sept. 1. They claimed Tye off the waiver wire on Sept. 3.
The tight end and wideout haven't hit their weekiversaries with their new team yet, but that won't stop the Jets from force-feeding both the offensive playbook. Come Sunday's season opener against the Bills, it wouldn't be a shock if both are starting.
"I've only been here two days," Kearse said when asked if he's ready. "We're going to find out.
