When it comes to accountability, it tends to make the workplace efficient to the point where things that need to get done, will get done, otherwise, there will be consequences. The New York Jets had major issues last year when it came to accountability when things didn’t go as planned.
From a lack of effort on the football field to veteran players being late to mandatory team meetings, the Jets needed a new culture change this season if they’re to rebound from 2016. It won’t be easy but it all comes down to the coaching staff and ensuring that players know just because expectations are low, that doesn’t mean to ease up at any point in time.
