Neither the Jets nor the Giants will have their colors or logos in the end zone when they play home games at MetLife Stadium this weekend.
The teams announced on Wednesday that there will be “neutral” end zones – green turf with white slash marks going across them – as they play games with roughly 12 hours between the expected end of the Jets-Texans game on Saturday and when players arrive for warmups for the Giants-Titans game that kicks off at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The initial plan was to change the end zones over, but with rainy weather forecast for the weekend that plan was aborted.
