It’s Ryan's Hope that dreams do come true.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is the ultimate survivor at quarterback and deserves to be rewarded for the improbable career year he’s put together for the Jets with the first playoff appearance of his long and unique journey through the NFL.
“It’s really important for me,” he told the Daily News on Thursday. “I want to get there and just have a chance to compete at the highest level. That’s kind of the goal and why I continue to play.”
Fitzpatrick is smart enough — hey, he went Harvard and reportedly has the highest Wonderlic score of any QB to ever take the exam at the combine — to know that leading a New York franchise to the playoffs would be a significant achievement and look pretty good years from now when he looks back on his career.
