Perhaps the most unsurprising move the Jets will make during the offseason is the decision to release defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson.
NJ Advance Media had documented Wilkerson's problems with punctuality this season (and last season) prior to his release.
Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News tweeted Thursday that perhaps part of Wilkerson's problems could be a result of alcohol, after hearing that the Linden, N.J. native was preparing to make a free agent visit to the New Orleans Saints.
Wilkerson is getting some terrible advice. The last place he should be near given his issues with alcohol is Bourbon Street/French Quarter.
