Jets veterans David Harris and Nick Mangold both underwent MRIs on Monday, but there was “nothing negative,” according to Todd Bowles.
Harris, their middle linebacker, has a sore hamstring while Mangold, their seven-time Pro Bowl center has a sore knee. The injuries forced both players to exit Sunday’s 31-13 loss in Pittsburgh early.
The Jets — now 1-4 after losing three straight, don’t play again until Monday night in Arizona. But on a conference call with reporters Monday, Bowles said it’s “too early to tell” if both Mangold and Harris will be available vs. the Cardinals.
“Nick is a huge part of what we do on offense,” quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said on a separate call.
