EAST RUTHERFORD — The Jets' decision to waive Quinton Coples last Monday may have come a surprise to some but it didn't catch Coples off guard. Considering his lack of playing time and production, he was almost expecting it. And now that he's with the Dolphins and getting a chance to play he seems happier.
"It's part of the business," Coples said Sunday after Miami's 38-20 loss to the Jets. "I wasn't playing so this game is all about production. At the end of the day I wasn't playing so I wasn't producing.
