FLORHAM PARK -- Jets running back Matt Forte is no fan of how now-retired offensive coordinator Chan Gailey handled the team's backfield rotation last season.
Forte on Tuesday criticized Gailey's "odd, to say the least" approach -- and said new coordinator John Morton "will have a better grasp of how we will fit in the offense."
The Jets held their first organized team activities practice Tuesday, and afterward, Morton said he favored a committee approach with his top two backs -- Forte and Bilal Powell.
"That's pretty much what we did last year, except in a different order," Forte told NJ Advance Media.
