Marty Lyons is leaving the New York Jets radio booth

The New York Jets have announced that longtime radio analyst Marty Lyons will leave the team’s radio booth after 22 seasons. The team also announced that former tight end Anthony Becht will take over for Lyons.

Lyons has been associated with the Jets organization for 45 years. He played for the Jets from 1979-1989 and is a member of the Jets Ring of Honor. The 67-year-old will step into a new role as an “ambassador” for the organization.

In a press release from the Jets, Lyons said, “First, I want to thank the Good Lord for allowing me to live out my dream.
