New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught seven passes for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 win over the Washington Redskins, thus becoming the first Jets player since Don Maynard in 1968 to record four consecutive 100-yard receiving games, per NFL Network's Rand Getlin.
Though somewhat overshadowed by his team's excellent defense and running back Chris Ivory, Marshall has quietly been one of the season's bigger surprises, following a disappointing and injury-marred 2014 with the Chicago Bears.
He caught just 61 passes for 721 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games last season, with his campaign eventually cut short by broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
