Mark Sanchez seems headed back toward the unemployment line.
The Eagles will sign quarterback Chase Daniel to a three-year deal on Wednesday, according to multiple reports, to slot in as Sam Bradford’s backup. Daniel was previously with the Chiefs, where new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson was the offensive coordinator.
That leaves Sanchez in danger of becoming a roster casualty. The one-time Jets savior re-signed with the Eagles before last season for two years. Sanchez was considered a good fit for Chip Kelly’s offense, but went from being Nick Foles’ backup to Bradford’s in his two years under Kelly, who was fired and is now leading the 49ers.
