FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Marcus Maye refused to comment on his DUI arrest in February or why he didn’t inform the team about it. But he reiterated his desire to remain with the Jets beyond this season.
This was the first time that Maye addressed the media since news came out two weeks ago that he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after allegedly being involved in a car accident. On Thursday, Maye expressed remorse for what happened.
"Oh yeah definitely," Maye said. "The situation happened. I definitely feel sorry for it. I learned from it. Own everything.
