Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan wasted no time beginning to reshape his personnel department after the draft.
Maccagnan fired director of pro personnel Brendan Prophett on Sunday along with scouts Rick Courtright, David Hinson, Cole Hufnagel, Chris Prescott and Seth Turner, according to sources.
Prophett had been with the team for 16 years, the last nine in his current role. He worked under GMs Terry Bradway, Mike Tannenbaum and John Idzik, but Maccagnan probably wants to bring in his own people.
Hufnagel is the only one of the scouts who was with the team before Idzik.
