Luke Falk waived in surprising Jets QB shakeup

The Jets moved on from the quarterback who started the past two games for them in a bit of a surprise move.

The team waived Luke Falk, who lost both of his starts, to clear a roster spot for linebacker Brandon Copeland, who is returning from a PED suspension.

Falk began the season on the Jets’ practice squad but was moved up to the active roster after Sam Darnold was diagnosed with mononucleosis. Falk then became the starter when Trevor Siemian suffered a season-ending ankle injury Week 2 against the Browns.

Falk did not fare well under difficult circumstances in his two starts against the Patriots and Eagles.
