Low-Key Ronald Talley Jumps into DL Fray

Defensive end Ronald Talley was not the highest profile among the veteran free agents to come to the Jets this year. He sat out last season, and he came into the league unheralded in 2009 as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay before making stops with Arizona and Tampa Bay.

So why is Ronald so popular?

We found this to be so when we posted a story on his arrival on the Jets on March 4. It was a four-paragraph recap of his signing and his past highlights — and it was well-received. His story had 140% more views than our typical signing story, and it is our seventh-highest-performing signing article (players, coaches and executives) since 2013.
