ORCHARD PARK — Le’Veon Bell’s first season with the Jets ended the same way it went most of the year — disappointingly.
Bell only rushed for 41 yards on 16 carries and had five catches for 36 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bills. He was a heavy part of the offense early, but Jets coach Adam Gase went away from him in the second half. Bell did not touch the ball after halftime until there was 5:17 left in the game. He had just four carries in the second half.
“It was just kind of how the game was going,” Gase said.
