"Yeah, I'll definitely be ready by Week 1," first-round rookie DE Leonard Williams told reporters at his locker after today's mid-afternoon practice at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
Naturally, Williams is not a coach, trainer or doctor. But the Jets head coach was only slightly less bubbly about the word he got on Williams' medical situation coming out of the Giants preseason game on Saturday night.
"I was relieved to have it and I’m hopeful for Week 1," Todd Bowles said before today's locker room availability. "He says he’s starting to feel better by the day.
