FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — David Harris shied away from the spotlight throughout his 10-year Jets career, preferring to let his play speak for itself. But the middle linebacker — and current New England Patriot — finally broke his silence on his abrupt release from the Jets last month.
“They kind of blindsided me with the whole thing, being so late in the offseason, a week before minicamp. It came out of left field,” Harris said on SiriusXM NFL Radio, according to ESPN.com.
“It was more about the disrespect of the whole situation than anything else. But the Jets made their decision.
