Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jets are still open to trading DL Sheldon Richardson, even after they were unable to finalizing anything during the draft.
According to Rapoport, one of the issues that prevented Richardson from being moved was his $8 million salary. Rapoport says that if he was willing to take a pay cut, it’s possible a trade could be completed, but he’s resisted doing so up to this point.
In regards to S Calvin Pryor, Rapoport mentions that the Jets will likely keep their options open moving forward and see how he looking during training camp.
