LaDainian Tomlinson headed to Hall of Fame, Kevin Mawae misses cut

One ex-Jets running back has reached the pinnacle of his football career.

LaDainian Tomlinson, who played for the Jets from 2010 through 2011, was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. He joined kicker Morten Anderson, quarterback Kurt Warner, running back Terrell Davis, defensive end Jason Taylor, Kenny Easley and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones as the Class of 2017.

Tomlinson ended his luxurious career with the Jets after spending the first nine seasons with the Chargers. In 170 games, he ran for 13,684 yards (fifth all-time) and scored 85 touchdowns (second all-time).
