In a documentary about his free agency, Cousins informs his wife that the Jets offered him $90 million fully guaranteed over three years, and that he hopes it gets the Vikings to give him more. It was widely believed he used the Jets.
With the Vikings visiting MetLife Stadium this weekend to face the Jets, Cousins was asked about it Wednesday, and he never really answered the question. He continued to say it had more to do with the Vikings, who gave him three years and $84 million.
