This offseason should be a fun one for Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan. After two years of bargain buying, he'll have near $100 million in salary cap space by the start of free agency. Come the draft, he'll have three picks in the first two rounds.
Playoff teams have been built with less. This is a perfect chance for the fourth-year GM to completely reshape the Jets, and usher in a new age of successful -- not painful -- football.
Obviously, there's a long way between here and there. We haven't even reached the Super Bowl. But in the spirit of looking forward, here's what the Jets starting lineup next year could look like, if everything falls their way.
