New York Jets tight end Kellen Davis tore a ligament in his right thumb during organized team activities and has undergone surgery.
Brian Costello of the New York Post reported on Davis' injury Wednesday, and the news was confirmed by Jets head coach Todd Bowles, per Dennis Waszak Jr. of the Associated Press.
Davis played in all 16 games for New York last season, registering three receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown.
