Kacy Rodgers says Jets' secondary made 'great strides' in 31-13 loss to Steelers

FLORHAM PARK — The Jets' secondary has not been good this season.

Rephrase that: The Jets' secondary has been a colossal failure through five regular season games.

No team in the NFL has allowed more than the Jet D's eight, 40-plus yard plays. Every quarterback to face the team has finished with a rating over 100. They've allowed at least 20 points each game this season. They've intercepted just two passes.

But, on a positive note, in last week's 31-13 loss to the Steelers, there weren't as many communication breakdowns as there had been Weeks 1-4.
