Juston Burris demoted? No limitations for Muhammad Wilkerson? | Jets-Patriots snap count analysis

Juston Burris hasn't had the best start to this season. He began the year as the Jets' No. 3 cornerback. Considering how pass-happy the NFL is, that meant he played quite a bit in the nickel package.

Then the Raiders picked him apart in Week 2, and Burris lost his spot to cornerback Darryl Roberts.

On Sunday against the Patriots, he didn't play a single of the Jets' 68 defensive snaps. Aside from starters Morris Claiborne and Buster Skrine, the Jets turned to Roberts (40 snaps) and Xavier Coleman (three snaps). The Jets signed Coleman off the practice squad on Saturday.
