Even with Matt Flynn in the fold, the Jets still aren't done scouting backup quarterbacks.
A source confirmed that veteran quarterback Josh Johnson has a workout scheduled with the team on Thursday.
Johnson, 29, has spent time with six teams since 2008, including two stints with the Cincinnati Bengals. The NFL journeyman was released on Tuesday by the Bengals after he lost out to A.J. McCarron for the backup role behind starter Andy Dalton.
The Jets are now in desperation mode following the Aug. 11 locker-room altercation that left former starter Geno Smith with a broken jaw.
