It was the only logical thing to do; Jets GM Joe Douglas has been fired just a month after head coach Robert Saleh was shown the door and owner Woody Johnson began making personnel moves.
After assembling what many believed would be a Super Bowl contender, the Jets sputtered to a 2-3 start, which prompted the firing of Saleh and currently sit at 3-8.
It was recently rumored that Douglas was already expecting to join the Baltimore Ravens front office next season and was already house hunting in the Baltimore area.
