Quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals took the NFL world by storm with their galvanizing performance in the AFC championship game. The Bengals erased an 18-point deficit to defeat the two-time reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on the road and advance to their first Super Bowl in 33 years.
Reaching the big stage is nothing new for the 25-year-old Burrow. Just two years ago, Burrow led the LSU Tigers to a 42-25 victory over the Clemson Tigers in the 2020 National Championship Game. Burrow threw for 463 yards and five touchdowns in the win.
If Burrow were to couple up his National Championship win with a Lombardi Trophy, he’d place himself in some exclusive company.
