Jets WR Jamison Crowder building trust, chemistry with QB Sam Darnold

Running back Le’Veon Bell wasn’t the only explosive playmaker the New York Jets added to their offense this offseason.

In an effort to give second-year quarterback Sam Darnold as many weapons as possible this season, the Jets also went out and signed one of the top slot receivers in the entire league in Jamison Crowder.

Despite being slowed by a minor injury earlier in the week, Crowder is fully committed to giving Darnold a trustworthy target he can rely on, and a big-play machine who can strike from anywhere on the field (via team reporter Ethan Greenberg):

I just want to be a weapon, somebody that’s reliable, somebody that’s consistent.
