Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that Jets WR Jalin Marshall is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Mehta’s sources say that Marshall tested positive for Adderall.
Marshall, 21, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and stands to make a base salary of $540,000 for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Marshall appeared in 10 games for the Jets and caught 14 passes for 162 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
