FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Turns out the player that "got into it" with Brandon Marshall was rookie wide receiver Devin Smith.
On Wednesday, Marshall elaborated on the cryptic comment he made Tuesday night on Showtime's "Inside the NFL," when he told a national television audience he argued -- and later patched things up -- with an identified teammate during Sunday's game at the New England Patriots.
It was Smith, he acknowledged when approached by reporters.
Marshall and Smith argued at the end of the game, when Marshall was flagged for a false start as the New York Jets scrambled back to the line of scrimmage in an attempt to try a last-second Hail Mary.
