Jets won't fire Todd Bowles midseason despite putrid loss to Bills | What it means for rest of 2018, future of franchise

Todd Bowles still hasn't run out of chances.

Despite Sunday's embarrassing 41-10 loss to the Bills at MetLife Stadium, Bowles will remain in place as the Jets' head coach until at least the end of the season.

That reality became clear on Monday, when Bowles was scheduled to meet with acting owner Christopher Johnson - as is his Monday routine.

News that Bowles is expected to stay through the end of the season was first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Bowles' job security for 2019 and beyond, however, is still an open question.
