HOUSTON - The Jets will be without two former first-round picks against the Texans on Sunday.
Sheldon Richardson is inactive due to a hamstring injury. Cornerback Dee Milliner — who was drafted ninth overall and three spots ahead of Richardson in 2013 — will not play because of an illness.
Richardson did not practice all week and was listed as questionable for the game. On Friday, head coach Todd Bowles said the third-year defensive tackle would be a game-time decision, but Richardson’s inability to get on the practice field was an indication of how banged up he is.
