The Jets of first-year head coach Todd Bowles roared to life in the second quarter of tonight's preseason opener against Atlanta, with guidance from a young "Cat" and an offensive awakening.
First-round rookie Leonard "Big Cat" Williams had a huge hand in the Green & White's first 13 points of the night, while on offense Ryan Fitzpatrick and Bryce Petty completed 18 of 27 first-half passes and Chris Ivory dashed for a 33-yard touchdown as the Jets came back from a 14-0 deficit for a 30-22 win over the Falcons at MetLife Stadium.
