Good teams know how to finish off their opponents. Unfortunately for the Jets, they couldn't score enough touchdowns to put away the Patriots.
"A team like that, when you have a chance to put the knife in them, you've got to do so," guard Willie Colon said Monday, a day after the Jets fell, 30-23, at New England. "If not, they're going to turn around and do it to you. And that's what happened.''
But, in many respects, the upcoming week will say more about Todd Bowles' team than the final minutes of Sunday's letdown. And his players know it.
