Jets wideout hope slapped with 4-game PED suspension

One of the Jets’ young wide receivers won’t be with the team to start the 2017 season.

Jalin Marshall was suspended by the NFL on Tuesday for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

Marshall was a fast-rising player last summer, catching on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State. His season did not live up to the hope he delivered in training camp, though. He had 14 catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns. He played 10 games, missing time with a shoulder injury.
