The Jets announced they have waived RB-KR C.J. Spiller and WR-KR Jeremy Ross. In addition to those two moves, the Green & White signed WR Darius Jennings to the practice squad and released WR Mario Alford from the P-squad.
The 5’11”, 200-pound Spiller signed with the Jets Nov. 2 after appearing in two games with the Seahawks. The Clemson product appeared in four games with New York’s AFC representative, returning five kickoffs while averaging 19.1 yards per return. He also appeared in some offensive packages, rushing three times and collecting one reception.
