Kimberly A. Martin reports that the Jets have placed CB Nick Marshall on waivers Thursday.

Marshall was recently suspended without pay for first four games of the 2017 season for violating league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Marshall, 24, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was waived a year later.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad before the start of the season before he later caught on with the Jets in October.
