According to Rich Cimini, free agent QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson will attend the Jets’ minicamp on a tryout basis Friday.
Bethel-Thompson, 28, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Sacramento State back in 2011. He has bounced around quite a bit since he entered the league, which includes short stints with the Dolphins, Vikings, Patriots and the 49ers.
The Eagles signed him to a contract back in February of last year before currently him loose during the final wave of roster cuts.
Bethel-Thompson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
