Wednesday was the last of 10 practices before the Jets' preseason opener against the Falcons at home on Friday and Todd Bowles took it a little easy on his players. The Jets did not wear pads for the first time since July 28 – their second practice of camp. They also had a relatively low-rep practice, with just 51 total reps run during team periods. And things ended a bit early, too, wrapping up around 4:15 p.m. after starting the week with two straight days that extended to around 4:30.
The list of players sitting out practice remained long on Wednesday, but there were no new additions.
