The Jets will welcome a decimated Washington team to MetLife Stadium on Sunday, one without it’s two starting cornerbacks, two first-team offensive linemen and its top tight end, not to mention question marks elsewhere offensively.
So it should be a walk in the park for the Jets on Sunday, right? Like a stroll along the Great Lawn? Not if you ask Todd Bowles.
“I think when you try to take people lightly they’re gonna kick your butt,” the first-year Jets head coach said Friday. “We just have to go out and play our game.”
