A day after the Jets locked arms in a show of unity during the national anthem, coach Todd Bowles expressed his personal feelings about President Donald Trump vulgarly ripping NFL players who choose to peacefully protest the anthem.
"My personal reaction?" Bowles said Monday when asked about this during a conference call with reporters. "Honestly, in my mind, to me, it's no different than a fan saying something when you're coming through the tunnel. You've got to put that out of mind. The biggest problem here is the issues. You focus on the issues.
