GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Jets will carry Dennis Byrd’s memory with them Monday night.

They will honor their late defensive lineman by wearing a “90” decal — Byrd’s old jersey number — on their helmets against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football.

The organization posted a short video of a decal being placed on a helmet on Instagram with a caption that read: “No. 90 always in our hearts.”

Byrd, an inspirational figure who regained the ability to walk after breaking his neck during a 1992 game, died on Sunday in a two-vehicle collision north of Claremore, Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
